But his bow abode
in strength,
and the arms
of his hands
were made strong
by the hands
of the mighty God
of Jacob;
(from thence is the shepherd,
the stone
of Israel:)
The LORD
is my strength
and song,
and
he is become
my salvation:
he is my God,
and
I will prepare him
an habitation;
my father's God,
and
I will exalt him.
For wherein shall
it be known here that
I and thy people
have found
grace in thy sight?
is it
not in that thou
goest with us?
so shall
we be separated,
I and thy people,
from all
the people
that are upon the face
of the earth.
Thou shalt sanctify him
therefore;
for he offereth
the bread
of thy God:
he shall be holy
unto thee:
for I the LORD,
which sanctify you,
am holy.
Thy shoes
shall be
iron and brass;
and as thy days,
so shall
thy strength be.
The eternal God
is thy refuge,
and underneath are
the everlasting arms:
and
he shall thrust
out the enemy from
before thee;
and shall say,
Destroy them.
The bows
of the mighty men
are broken,
and they
that stumbled
are girded
with strength.
Then
he said unto them,
Go your way,
eat the fat,
and drink
the sweet,
and send portions
unto them for whom nothing
is prepared:
for this day
is holy
unto our LORD:
neither be
ye sorry;
for the joy
of the LORD
is your strength.
Will
he plead
against me
with his great power?
No;
but
he would put strength in me.
I will love thee,
O LORD,
my strength.
The LORD
is my rock,
and my fortress,
and my deliverer;
my God,
my strength,
in whom
I will trust;
my buckler,
and the horn
of my salvation,
and my high tower.
For thou
wilt light
my candle:
the LORD my God
will enlighten
my darkness.
It is
God that
girdeth me
with strength,
and maketh
my way perfect.
Thou hast also given me
the shield
of thy salvation:
and thy
right hand
hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness
hath made me great.
He maketh me
to lie down
in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside
the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Wait on the LORD:
be of good courage,
and
he shall strengthen
thine heart:
wait,
I say,
on the LORD.
The LORD
is their strength,
and he
is
the saving strength
of his anointed.
The LORD
will give strength
unto his people;
the LORD
will bless
his people
with peace.
LORD,
by thy
favour
thou hast made
my mountain
to stand strong:
thou didst hide
thy face,
and
I was troubled.
Be of good courage,
and
he shall strengthen
your heart,
all
ye that hope
in the LORD.
And
he shall bring forth
thy righteousness
as the light,
and thy judgment
as the noonday.
For the arms
of the wicked
shall be broken:
but the LORD
upholdeth the righteous.
Though he fall,
he shall not be
utterly cast down:
for the LORD
upholdeth him
with his hand.
But
the salvation
of the righteous
is of the LORD:
he is their strength
in the time
of trouble.
But I
am like
a green olive tree
in the house
of God:
I trust
in the mercy
of God
for ever and ever.
Cast
thy burden
upon the LORD,
and
he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer
the righteous
to be moved.
For thou,
O God,
hast heard
my vows:
thou hast given me
the heritage
of those
that fear thy name.
My soul
followeth hard
after thee:
thy right hand
upholdeth me.
Which holdeth
our soul in life,
and suffereth not
our feet
to be moved.
Thou hast ascended
on high,
thou hast led captivity captive:
thou hast received gifts
for men;
yea,
for the rebellious also,
that the LORD God
might dwell among them.
Thy God
hath commanded
thy strength:
strengthen,
O God,
that which
thou
hast wrought for us.
O God,
thou art terrible
out of thy holy places:
the God
of Israel
is
he that
giveth strength
and power
unto his people.
Blessed be God.
I will go in the strength
of the Lord GOD:
I will make
mention of thy righteousness,
even of thine only.
He shall come
down like rain
upon the mown grass:
as showers that water
the earth.
Nevertheless
I am continually
with thee:
thou hast holden me
by my right hand.
I am the LORD
thy God,
which brought thee
out of the land
of Egypt:
open thy
mouth wide,
and
I will fill it.
Blessed
is the man
whose strength
is in thee;
in whose heart
are the ways
of them.
For the LORD God
is a sun
and shield:
the LORD
will give
grace and glory:
no good thing
will
he withhold
from them that walk uprightly.
For thou
art the glory
of their strength:
and in thy
favour our horn
shall be exalted.
The righteous
shall flourish like
the palm tree:
he shall grow like
a cedar
in Lebanon.
Those that
be planted
in the house
of the LORD
shall flourish
in the courts
of our God.
They shall still bring forth fruit
in old age;
they shall be fat
and flourishing;
Unless the LORD
had been my help,
my soul
had
almost dwelt
in silence.
When I said,
My foot slippeth;
thy mercy,
O LORD,
held me up.
Seek the LORD,
and his strength:
seek
his face evermore.
I will run the way
of thy commandments,
when
thou shalt enlarge
my heart.
I have not departed
from thy judgments:
for thou
hast taught me.
I will abundantly bless
her provision:
I will satisfy
her poor
with bread.
I will also clothe her priests
with salvation:
and her saints
shall shout aloud
for joy.
In the day
when I
cried
thou answeredst me,
and strengthenedst me
with strength
in my soul.
The LORD
will perfect
that which
concerneth me:
thy mercy,
O LORD,
endureth for ever:
forsake not the works
of thine own hands.
Blessed
be the LORD my strength
which teacheth
my hands to war,
and my fingers
to fight:
My goodness,
and my fortress;
my high tower,
and my deliverer;
my shield,
and
he in whom
I trust;
who subdueth
my people
under me.
Happy is he that
hath the God
of Jacob
for his help,
whose hope
is in the LORD
his God:
The way
of the LORD
is strength
to the upright:
but destruction
shall be to the workers
of iniquity.
By mercy
and truth iniquity
is purged:
and by the fear
of the LORD men
depart
from evil.
And I
will turn
my hand
upon thee,
and purely purge away
thy dross,
and take away all
thy tin:
And it
shall come
to pass,
that he
that is left
in Zion,
and
he that
remaineth in Jerusalem,
shall be called holy,
even
every one
that is written
among the living
in Jerusalem:
When the Lord
shall have washed away
the filth
of the daughters
of Zion,
and shall have purged
the blood
of Jerusalem
from the midst
thereof by the spirit
of judgment,
and by the spirit
of burning.
Then flew one
of the seraphims
unto me,
having a live coal
in his hand,
which he
had taken
with the tongs from
off the altar:
And he
laid it
upon my mouth,
and said,
Lo,
this hath touched
thy lips;
and thine iniquity
is taken away,
and thy sin purged.
LORD,
thou wilt ordain peace
for us:
for thou
also hast wrought all
our works in us.
And for a spirit
of judgment
to him
that sitteth in judgment,
and
for strength
to them that turn
the battle
to the gate.
The LORD
is exalted;
for he
dwelleth on high:
he hath filled Zion
with judgment
and righteousness.
And wisdom
and knowledge
shall be the stability
of thy times,
and strength
of salvation:
the fear
of the LORD
is his treasure.
He shall feed
his flock like a shepherd:
he shall gather the lambs
with his arm,
and carry them
in his bosom,
and shall gently lead
those that
are with young.
He giveth
power
to the faint;
and to them
that have no
might
he increaseth strength.
But
they
that wait
upon the LORD
shall renew
their strength;
they shall mount up
with wings
as eagles;
they shall run,
and not be weary;
and
they shall walk,
and not faint.
Fear thou not;
for I
am with thee:
be not dismayed;
for I
am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
yea,
I will help thee;
yea,
I will uphold thee
with the right hand
of my righteousness.
For I the LORD
thy God
will hold
thy right hand,
saying unto thee,
Fear not;
I will help thee.
Fear not,
thou worm Jacob,
and
ye men of Israel;
I will help thee,
saith the LORD,
and thy redeemer,
the Holy One
of Israel.
When the poor
and needy seek water,
and there is none,
and their tongue
faileth
for thirst,
I the LORD
will hear them,
I the God
of Israel
will not forsake them.
I will open rivers
in high places,
and fountains
in the midst
of the valleys:
I will make
the wilderness
a pool of water,
and the dry land
springs
of water.
For I
will pour
water upon him that is thirsty,
and floods
upon the dry ground:
I will pour
my spirit
upon thy seed,
and my blessing
upon thine offspring:
Drop down,
ye heavens,
from above,
and let
the skies
pour
down righteousness:
let the earth open,
and let them
bring forth
salvation,
and let
righteousness
spring up together;
I the LORD
have created it.
Surely,
shall
one say,
in the LORD
have
I righteousness
and strength:
even to him
shall men come;
and all
that are incensed
against him shall be ashamed.
No weapon
that is formed
against thee
shall prosper;
and every tongue
that shall rise
against thee
in judgment
thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage
of the servants
of the LORD,
and their righteousness
is of me,
saith the LORD.
I create
the fruit
of the lips;
Peace,
peace to him
that is far off,
and to him
that is near,
saith the LORD;
and
I will heal him.
Then shall
thy light
break forth
as the morning,
and thine health
shall spring
forth speedily:
and thy righteousness
shall go
before thee;
the glory
of the LORD
shall be
thy rereward.
And
if thou
draw out thy soul
to the hungry,
and satisfy
the afflicted soul;
then shall
thy light
rise
in obscurity,
and thy darkness
be
as the noon day:
And the LORD
shall guide
thee continually,
and satisfy
thy soul
in drought,
and make fat
thy bones:
and
thou shalt be like
a watered garden,
and like
a spring
of water,
whose waters
fail not.
Therefore they
shall come
and sing
in the height
of Zion,
and shall flow together
to the goodness
of the LORD,
for wheat,
and for wine,
and for oil,
and for the young
of the flock
and of the herd:
and their soul
shall be
as a watered garden;
and
they shall not sorrow any more
at all.
And
I will satiate
the soul
of the priests
with fatness,
and my people
shall be satisfied
with my goodness,
saith the LORD.
But this
shall be
the covenant
that I
will make with the house
of Israel;
After those days,
saith the LORD,
I will put my law
in their inward parts,
and write it
in their hearts;
and will be
their God,
and
they shall be
my people.
And thy renown
went forth
among the heathen
for thy beauty:
for it
was perfect
through my comeliness,
which I
had put
upon thee,
saith the Lord GOD.
And such as do wickedly
against the covenant
shall
he corrupt
by flatteries:
but the people that
do know their God
shall be strong,
and do exploits.
Then shall
we know,
if we
follow on
to know the LORD:
his going
forth is prepared
as the morning;
and he
shall come
unto us
as the rain,
as the latter
and former rain
unto the earth.
I will be as the dew
unto Israel:
he shall grow
as the lily,
and cast
forth his roots
as Lebanon.
Ephraim shall say,
What
have
I to do any more
with idols?
I have heard him,
and observed him:
I am like
a green fir tree.
From me is
thy fruit found.
The LORD God
is my strength,
and he
will make
my feet like hinds' feet,
and he
will make me
to walk
upon mine high places.
To the chief singer
on my stringed instruments.
And
I will strengthen them
in the LORD;
and
they shall walk up and down
in his name,
saith the LORD.
In that day
shall
the LORD
defend the inhabitants
of Jerusalem;
and
he that is feeble
among them
at that day
shall be
as David;
and
the house
of David
shall be as God,
as the angel
of the LORD
before them.
But who
may abide
the day
of his coming?
and
who shall stand
when
he appeareth?
for he
is like
a refiner's fire,
and like fullers' soap:
And he
shall sit
as a refiner
and purifier
of silver:
and
he shall purify
the sons
of Levi,
and purge them
as gold
and silver,
that they
may offer
unto the LORD
an offering
in righteousness.
But unto you
that fear my name
shall the Sun
of righteousness
arise
with healing
in his wings;
and
ye shall go forth,
and grow up
as calves
of the stall.
And
of his fulness
have all
we received,
and grace for grace.
And now
I am no more
in the world,
but these
are in the world,
and I come
to thee.
Holy Father,
keep through thine
own
name those whom
thou hast given me,
that they
may be one,
as we are.
And now,
brethren,
I commend you
to God,
and to the word
of his grace,
which is able
to build you up,
and
to give
you an inheritance
among all
them which
are sanctified.
And that
he might make
known
the riches
of his glory
on the vessels
of mercy,
which he
had afore
prepared unto glory,
Who art
thou
that judgest
another man's servant?
to his own master
he standeth
or falleth.
Yea,
he shall be holden up:
for God
is able
to make him stand.
And there are diversities
of operations,
but it
is the same God which
worketh all in all.
But
when that which
is perfect
is come,
then that which
is in part shall be done
away.
For now
we see
through a glass,
darkly;
but
then face to face:
now
I know in part;
but
then shall
I know
even as also
I am known.
But by the grace
of God I
am
what I am:
and his grace which
was bestowed
upon me was not
in vain;
but
I laboured more abundantly than
they all:
yet not I,
but the grace
of God
which was with me.
Now
he which
stablisheth us
with you
in Christ,
and hath anointed us,
is God;
Who hath also sealed us,
and given
the earnest
of the Spirit
in our hearts.
Not that
we are sufficient
of ourselves
to think any thing
as of ourselves;
but our sufficiency
is of God;
Now
he that
hath wrought us
for the selfsame thing
is God,
who also hath given
unto us the earnest
of the Spirit.
And God
is able
to make
all grace
abound toward you;
that ye,
always having all sufficiency
in all things,
may abound
to every good work:
(For the weapons
of our warfare
are not carnal,
but mighty
through God
to the pulling down
of strong holds;)
Now unto him that is able
to do exceeding abundantly above all
that
we ask
or think,
according to
the power
that worketh in us,
Being confident
of this very thing,
that he
which hath begun
a good work
in you
will perform it
until the day
of Jesus Christ:
For it
is
God which
worketh in you both to
will
and
to do
of his good pleasure.
And the peace
of God,
which passeth
all understanding,
shall keep your hearts
and minds
through Christ Jesus.
But my God
shall supply all
your need
according to his riches
in glory
by Christ Jesus.
Strengthened
with all might,
according to
his glorious power,
unto all patience
and longsuffering
with joyfulness;
Giving
thanks
unto the Father,
which hath made us
meet
to be partakers
of the inheritance
of the saints
in light:
Faithful
is
he that calleth you,
who also will do it.
For they
verily for a
few days
chastened us
after their own pleasure;
but
he for our profit,
that we
might be partakers
of his holiness.
Every good gift
and every perfect gift
is from above,
and cometh down
from the Father
of lights,
with whom
is no variableness,
neither shadow
of turning.
Who are kept
by the power
of God
through faith
unto salvation ready
to be revealed
in the last time.
Grace
and peace
be multiplied
unto you
through the knowledge
of God,
and
of Jesus our Lord,
According
as his divine power
hath given
unto us all
things that
pertain
unto life
and godliness,
through the knowledge
of him that
hath called us
to glory
and virtue:
Whereby are given
unto us exceeding
great
and precious promises:
that by these
ye might be partakers
of the divine nature,
having escaped
the corruption
that is
in the world
through lust.
If we
confess our sins,
he is faithful
and
just to forgive us
our sins,
and
to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
Ye are of God,
little children,
and have overcome them:
because greater
is he
that is in you,
than
he that is
in the world.
Jude,
the servant
of Jesus Christ,
and brother
of James,
to them
that
are sanctified
by God the Father,
and preserved
in Jesus Christ,
and called:
Now unto him that is able
to keep you
from falling,
and
to present
you faultless
before the presence
of his glory
with exceeding joy,
