Sanctify unto me all
the firstborn,
whatsoever openeth the womb
among the children
of Israel,
both of man
and of beast:
it is mine.
And the LORD
said
unto Moses,
Go unto the people,
and sanctify them
to day
and to morrow,
and let them
wash their clothes,
And Moses
went down
from the mount
unto the people,
and sanctified
the people;
and
they washed
their clothes.
Seven days
thou shalt make
an atonement
for the altar,
and sanctify it;
and it
shall be
an altar most holy:
whatsoever toucheth
the altar shall be holy.
And
there
I will meet
with the children
of Israel,
and the tabernacle
shall be sanctified
by my glory.
And
thou shalt sanctify them,
that they
may be most holy:
whatsoever toucheth them
shall be holy.
Speak
thou also unto the children
of Israel,
saying,
Verily my sabbaths
ye shall keep:
for it
is a sign
between me
and you
throughout your generations;
that ye
may know
that I
am the LORD
that doth sanctify you.
For wherein shall
it be known here that
I and thy people
have found
grace in thy sight?
is it
not in that thou
goest with us?
so shall
we be separated,
I and thy people,
from all
the people
that are upon the face
of the earth.
And
thou shalt take
the anointing oil,
and anoint
the tabernacle,
and all that is
therein,
and shalt hallow it,
and all
the vessels
thereof:
and it
shall be holy.
And
thou shalt anoint
the altar
of the burnt offering,
and all
his vessels,
and sanctify
the altar:
and it
shall be
an altar most holy.
And
thou shalt anoint
the laver
and his foot,
and sanctify it.
Then a cloud
covered
the tent
of the congregation,
and the glory
of the LORD
filled the tabernacle.
And Moses
was not able
to enter
into the tent
of the congregation,
because the cloud abode thereon,
and the glory
of the LORD
filled the tabernacle.
And
ye shall keep
my statutes,
and do them:
I am the LORD
which sanctify you.
And the LORD
said
unto Moses,
Speak
unto the priests
the sons
of Aaron,
and
say unto them,
There shall none
be defiled
for the dead
among his people:
But for his kin,
that is near unto him,
that is,
for his mother,
and
for his father,
and for his son,
and
for his daughter,
and
for his brother.
And
for his sister a virgin,
that is nigh
unto him,
which hath had
no husband;
for her
may he be defiled.
But
he shall not defile himself,
being a
chief man
among his people,
to profane himself.
They shall not make baldness
upon their head,
neither shall
they shave
off the corner
of their beard,
nor make any cuttings
in their flesh.
They shall be holy
unto their God,
and not profane
the name
of their God:
for the offerings
of the LORD
made by fire,
and the bread
of their God,
they do offer:
therefore they
shall be holy.
They
shall not take
a wife
that is
a whore,
or profane;
neither shall
they take
a woman
put away
from her husband:
for he
is holy
unto his God.
Thou shalt sanctify him
therefore;
for he offereth
the bread
of thy God:
he shall be holy
unto thee:
for I the LORD,
which sanctify you,
am holy.
And the daughter
of any priest,
if she
profane herself
by playing the whore,
she profaneth her father:
she shall be burnt
with fire.
And he
that is
the high priest
among his brethren,
upon whose head
the anointing
oil
was poured,
and that is consecrated
to put on the garments,
shall not uncover
his head,
nor rend
his clothes;
Neither shall
he go in
to any dead body,
nor defile himself
for his father,
or for his mother;
Neither shall
he go
out of the sanctuary,
nor profane
the sanctuary
of his God;
for the crown
of the anointing
oil
of his God
is upon him:
I am the LORD.
And he
shall take
a wife
in her virginity.
A widow,
or a
divorced woman,
or profane,
or an harlot,
these shall
he not take:
but he
shall take
a virgin
of his own people
to wife.
Neither shall
he profane
his seed
among his people:
for I
the LORD
do sanctify him.
And the LORD
spake unto Moses,
saying,
Speak unto Aaron,
saying,
Whosoever
he be of thy
seed
in their generations
that hath
any blemish,
let him
not approach
to offer the bread
of his God.
For whatsoever man
he be that
hath a blemish,
he shall not approach:
a blind man,
or a lame,
or he that
hath a flat nose,
or any thing superfluous,
Or a man
that is
brokenfooted,
or brokenhanded,
Or crookbackt,
or a dwarf,
or that
hath a blemish
in his eye,
or be scurvy,
or scabbed,
or hath
his stones broken;
No man
that hath
a blemish
of the seed
of Aaron
the priest
shall come nigh
to offer
the offerings
of the LORD
made by fire:
he hath
a blemish;
he shall not come nigh
to offer the bread
of his God.
He shall eat the bread
of his God,
both of the most holy,
and
of the holy.
Only he
shall not go in
unto the vail,
nor come nigh
unto the altar,
because
he hath
a blemish;
that he
profane not
my sanctuaries:
for I
the LORD
do sanctify them.
They shall therefore keep
mine ordinance,
lest
they bear
sin for it,
and die
therefore,
if they
profane it:
I the LORD
do sanctify them.
Before I
formed thee
in the belly
I knew thee;
and before thou
camest forth
out of the womb
I sanctified thee,
and
I ordained thee
a prophet
unto the nations.
And the heathen
shall know
that I
the LORD
do sanctify
Israel,
when my sanctuary
shall be
in the midst
of them
for evermore.
Sanctify them
through thy truth:
thy word
is truth.
And
for their sakes
I sanctify myself,
that they
also might be sanctified
through the truth.
Delivering thee
from the people,
and
from the Gentiles,
unto whom now
I send thee,
To open their eyes,
and
to turn them
from darkness
to light,
and
from the power
of Satan
unto God,
that they
may receive forgiveness
of sins,
and inheritance
among them which
are sanctified
by faith
that is in me.
That I
should be the minister
of Jesus Christ
to the Gentiles,
ministering the gospel
of God,
that the offering up
of the Gentiles
might be acceptable,
being sanctified
by the Holy Ghost.
Unto the church
of God which
is at Corinth,
to them
that are sanctified
in Christ Jesus,
called to be saints,
with all
that in every place call
upon the name
of Jesus Christ our Lord,
both their's
and our's:
But of him are
ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God
is made
unto us wisdom,
and righteousness,
and sanctification,
and redemption:
And such
were some of you:
but
ye are washed,
but
ye are sanctified,
but
ye are justified in the name
of the Lord Jesus,
and by the Spirit
of our God.
Though I
speak
with the tongues
of men
and of angels,
and have not
charity,
I am become
as sounding brass,
or a tinkling cymbal.
And
though I
have the gift
of prophecy,
and understand
all mysteries,
and all knowledge;
and
though I
have all faith,
so that
I could remove
mountains,
and have not
charity,
I am nothing.
And
though I
bestow all
my goods
to feed
the poor,
and
though I
give my body
to be burned,
and have not
charity,
it profiteth me
nothing.
Charity suffereth long,
and is kind;
charity envieth not;
charity vaunteth not
itself,
is not puffed up,
Doth not behave
itself unseemly,
seeketh not
her own,
is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not
in iniquity,
but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things,
believeth all things,
hopeth all things,
endureth all things.
Charity never faileth:
but whether
there be prophecies,
they shall fail;
whether there be
tongues,
they shall cease;
whether there be
knowledge,
it shall vanish away.
For we
know in part,
and
we prophesy in part.
But
when that which
is perfect
is come,
then that which
is in part shall be done
away.
When
I was a child,
I spake as a child,
I understood
as a child,
I thought
as a child:
but
when
I became a man,
I put away
childish things.
For now
we see
through a glass,
darkly;
but
then face to face:
now
I know in part;
but
then shall
I know
even as also
I am known.
And
now abideth faith,
hope,
charity,
these three;
but the greatest
of these is charity.
Now
he which
stablisheth us
with you
in Christ,
and hath anointed us,
is God;
Who hath also sealed us,
and given
the earnest
of the Spirit
in our hearts.
I am crucified
with Christ:
neverthless
I live;
yet not I,
but Christ
liveth in me:
and the life
which I
now live
in the flesh
I live
by the faith
of the Son
of God,
who loved me,
and
gave himself for me.
But God
forbid that
I should glory,
save in the cross
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom
the world
is crucified unto me,
and
I unto the world.
Blessed
be
the God
and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places
in Christ:
According as he
hath chosen us
in him
before the foundation
of the world,
that we
should be holy
and
without blame
before him
in love:
And
to know the love
of Christ,
which passeth knowledge,
that ye
might be filled
with all
the fulness
of God.
But unto every one
of us is given grace
according to the measure
of the gift
of Christ.
For the perfecting
of the saints,
for the work
of the ministry,
for the edifying
of the body
of Christ:
Till we all come in
the unity
of the faith,
and
of the knowledge
of the Son
of God,
unto a perfect man,
unto the measure
of the stature
of the fulness
of Christ:
But speaking the truth
in love,
may grow up
into him
in all things,
which is the head,
even Christ:
From whom
the whole body
fitly joined
together and compacted
by that
which every joint supplieth,
according to
the effectual working
in the measure
of every part,
maketh
increase
of the body
unto the edifying
of itself
in love.
Husbands,
love your wives,
even as Christ
also loved
the church,
and gave himself
for it;
That he
might sanctify
and cleanse it
with the washing
of water
by the word,
That he
might present it
to himself
a glorious church,
not having spot,
or wrinkle,
or any such thing;
but
that it
should be holy
and
without blemish.
In whom also
ye are circumcised
with the circumcision
made without hands,
in putting off
the body
of the sins
of the flesh
by the circumcision
of Christ:
For this
is the will
of God,
even your sanctification,
that ye
should abstain
from fornication:
That every one
of you
should know how
to possess his vessel
in sanctification
and honour;
And the very God
of peace
sanctify
you wholly;
and I
pray God
your whole spirit
and soul
and body
be preserved blameless
unto the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But we
are bound
to give
thanks alway
to God for you,
brethren beloved
of the Lord,
because God
hath
from the beginning
chosen you
to salvation
through sanctification
of the Spirit
and belief
of the truth:
Whereunto
he called you
by our gospel,
to the obtaining
of the glory
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a faithful saying:
For
if we
be dead
with him,
we shall also live with him:
If a man
therefore purge himself
from these,
he shall be a vessel
unto honour,
sanctified,
and meet
for the master's use,
and prepared
unto every good work.
For both
he that
sanctifieth
and they
who are sanctified
are all of one:
for which
cause
he is not ashamed
to call them brethren,
How much more
shall the blood
of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself
without spot
to God,
purge your conscience
from dead works
to serve
the living God?
By the which
will
we are sanctified
through the offering
of the body
of Jesus Christ
once for all.
For by one
offering
he hath perfected
for ever
them
that are sanctified.
For they
verily for a
few days
chastened us
after their own pleasure;
but
he for our profit,
that we
might be partakers
of his holiness.
Wherefore Jesus also,
that he
might sanctify
the people
with his own blood,
suffered
without the gate.
Make you
perfect in every good work
to do his will,
working in you
that which
is wellpleasing
in his sight,
through Jesus Christ;
to whom
be glory
for ever and ever.
Amen.
Elect according to
the foreknowledge
of God the Father,
through sanctification
of the Spirit,
unto obedience
and sprinkling
of the blood
of Jesus Christ:
Grace unto you,
and peace,
be multiplied.
Grace
and peace
be multiplied
unto you
through the knowledge
of God,
and
of Jesus our Lord,
According
as his divine power
hath given
unto us all
things that
pertain
unto life
and godliness,
through the knowledge
of him that
hath called us
to glory
and virtue:
Whereby are given
unto us exceeding
great
and precious promises:
that by these
ye might be partakers
of the divine nature,
having escaped
the corruption
that is
in the world
through lust.
If we
confess our sins,
he is faithful
and
just to forgive us
our sins,
and
to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
Jude,
the servant
of Jesus Christ,
and brother
of James,
to them
that
are sanctified
by God the Father,
and preserved
in Jesus Christ,
and called:
Now unto him that is able
to keep you
from falling,
and
to present
you faultless
before the presence
of his glory
with exceeding joy,
And
I said unto him,
Sir,
thou knowest.
And
he said to me,
These
are
they which
came
out of great tribulation,
and have washed
their robes,
and made them white
in the blood
of the Lamb.
