Resignation

  Resignation
  LEV 10:1
   And Nadab
          and Abihu,
      the sons
          of Aaron,
      took either
         of them his censer,
      and put
         fire therein,
      and put
         incense thereon,
      and offered
         strange fire
            before the LORD,
      which he
         commanded them not.
  LEV 10:2
   And there went out
         fire
            from the LORD,
               and devoured them,
              and they
       died
          before the LORD.
  LEV 10:3
   Then Moses
       said
          unto Aaron,
      This
         is
            it that
               the LORD spake,
              saying,
                 I will be sanctified
in them that come nigh me,
              and before all
                 the people
            I will be glorified.

   And Aaron
       held his peace.
  JDG 10:15
   And the children
          of Israel
             said unto the LORD,
      We have sinned:
         do thou
            unto us whatsoever seemeth good
          unto thee;
      deliver us only,
         we pray thee,
      this day.
  SA1 3:18
   And Samuel
       told him
          every whit,
      and hid nothing
          from him.

   And he said,
      It is the LORD:
         let him
            do
        what seemeth
           him good.
  SA2 12:23
   But now
        he is dead,
      wherefore should
         I fast?
      can
         I bring him
             back again?

   I shall go
       to him,
      but
he shall not return to me.
  SA2 15:26
   But
        if he thus say,
      I have
         no delight
            in thee;
      behold,
         here am I,
      let him
         do to me
        as seemeth good
           unto him.
  SA2 16:10
   And the king said,
      What
         have
        I to do
           with you,
      ye sons
          of Zeruiah?
      so let him curse,
         because
            the LORD
         hath said unto him,
      Curse David.

   Who shall
        then say,
      Wherefore
         hast
        thou done so?
  SA2 16:11
   And David
       said
          to Abishai,
      and
         to all his servants,
            Behold,
               my son,
          which came forth
             of my bowels,
          seeketh my life:
      how much more now may
         this Benjamite
       do it?
      let him alone,
         and let him curse;
            for the LORD
         hath bidden him.
  SA2 24:14
   And David
       said
          unto Gad,
I am in a great strait:
         let us
            fall now
          into the hand
              of the LORD;
                 for his mercies
       are great:
      and let me
         not fall
            into the hand
               of man.
  KI2 4:26
   Run now,
      I pray thee,
         to meet her,
      and say unto her,
         Is it
            well with thee?
      is it
          well with thy husband?
      is it
          well with the child?

   And she answered,
      It is well:
  KI2 20:19
   Then said Hezekiah
          unto Isaiah,
      Good is the word
          of the LORD which
        thou hast spoken.

   And he said,
      Is it not good,
         if peace
            and truth
       be in my days?
  NEH 9:33
   Howbeit
        thou art
           just in all that is
          brought upon us;
             for thou
       hast done right,
      but
         we have done wickedly:
  EST 4:16
   Go,
      gather
          together all
         the Jews
            that are
               present
              in Shushan,
      and fast
         ye for me,
      and neither
         eat
            nor drink
         three days,
      night or day:
         I also
       and my maidens
          will fast likewise;
      and so
         will
            I go in
               unto the king,
      which is not according to
         the law:
      and if I perish,
         I perish.
  JOB 1:13
   And there was a day
        when
           his sons
          and his daughters
             were eating
           and drinking wine
              in their eldest brother's house:
  JOB 1:14
   And there came
          a messenger
              unto Job,
                 and said,
              The oxen
       were plowing,
              and the asses feeding
                 beside them:
  JOB 1:15
   And the Sabeans
         fell upon them,
      and took them away;
         yea,
      they have slain
          the servants
             with the edge
                of the sword;
      and
         I only am escaped alone
       to tell thee.
  JOB 1:16
   While he
       was yet speaking,
      there came also
          another,
             and said,
          The fire
             of God
       is fallen
          from heaven,
             and hath burned
                up the sheep,
          and the servants,
             and consumed them;
      and
         I only am escaped alone
       to tell thee.
  JOB 1:17
   While he
       was yet speaking,
      there came also
          another,
             and said,
          The Chaldeans
             made out three bands,
          and fell
             upon the camels,
          and have carried them away,
             yea,
          and slain
             the servants
       with the edge
          of the sword;
      and
         I only am escaped alone
            to tell thee.
  JOB 1:18
   While he
       was yet speaking,
      there came also
          another,
             and said,
          Thy sons
             and thy daughters
           were eating
       and drinking wine
          in their eldest brother's house:
  JOB 1:19
   And,
      behold,
         there came
            a great wind
               from the wilderness,
      and smote
         the four
            corners
               of the house,
      and it
         fell
            upon the young men,
      and
         they are dead;
      and
         I only am escaped alone
       to tell thee.
  JOB 1:20
   Then Job arose,
      and rent
         his mantle,
      and shaved
         his head,
      and fell down
          upon the ground,
             and worshipped,

  JOB 1:21
   And said,
      Naked
         came
I out of my mother's womb,
      and naked
         shall
        I return thither:
      the LORD gave,
         and the LORD
            hath taken away;
      blessed
         be the name
            of the LORD.
  JOB 2:9
   Then said
          his wife
             unto him,
      Dost thou
         still retain
            thine integrity?
          curse God,
             and die.
  JOB 2:10
   But he
       said
          unto her,
      Thou speakest as one
          of the foolish women speaketh.

   What?
      shall
         we receive good
            at the hand
               of God,
      and shall
         we not receive evil?

   In all
        this did not
           Job
       sin
          with his lips.
  JOB 5:17
   Behold,
      happy is the man
         whom God correcteth:
      therefore despise not
         thou the chastening
            of the Almighty:
  JOB 34:31
   Surely
        it is
             meet
                 to be said
                    unto God,
      I have borne
         chastisement,
      I will not offend
         any more:
  PSA 4:4
   Stand in awe,
      and sin not:
         commune
            with your own heart
               upon your bed,
      and be still.

   Selah.
  PSA 39:9
   I was dumb,
      I opened not
         my mouth;
      because
         thou didst it.
  PSA 46:10
   Be still,
      and know
         that I
            am God:
      I will be exalted
          among the heathen,
      I will be exalted
          in the earth.
  PSA 103:10
He hath not dealt with us
          after our sins;
      nor rewarded us according to
         our iniquities.
  PSA 119:75
   I know,
      O LORD,
         that thy judgments
       are right,
      and
         that thou
            in faithfulness
           hast afflicted me.
  PRO 3:11
   My son,
      despise not the chastening
          of the LORD;
      neither be
         weary
            of his correction:
  PRO 18:14
   The spirit
          of a man
       will sustain
          his infirmity;
      but a wounded spirit
         who can bear?
  JER 10:19
   Woe is me
          for my hurt!
      my wound
         is grievous;
      but I said,
         Truly this
       is a grief,
      and
         I must bear it.
  JER 51:50
   Ye that
         have escaped
            the sword,
          go away,
             stand not still:
                remember the LORD
                   afar off,
      and let Jerusalem
         come into your mind.
  LAM 1:18
   The LORD
       is righteous;
          for I have rebelled
             against his commandment:
      hear,
         I pray you,
      all people,
         and behold
            my sorrow:
      my virgins
          and my young men
       are gone
          into captivity.
  LAM 3:39
   Wherefore doth
         a living man complain,
      a man
          for the punishment
              of his sins?
  DAN 9:14
   Therefore hath
         the LORD
            watched
               upon the evil,
      and brought it
          upon us:
             for the LORD
        our God
       is righteous
          in all his works
        which he doeth:
           for we
       obeyed not
          his voice.
  MIC 6:9
   The LORD's voice
       crieth unto the city,
      and the man
          of wisdom
         shall see
             thy name:
      hear ye
         the rod,
      and
         who hath appointed it.
  MIC 7:9
   I will bear the indignation
          of the LORD,
      because
         I have sinned against him,
      until he
         plead my cause,
      and execute judgment
          for me:
      he will bring
          me forth
             to the light,
      and
         I shall behold
            his righteousness.
  MAT 6:10
   Thy kingdom come,
      Thy will be done
         in earth,
      as it is in heaven.
  MAT 26:39
   And
        he went a little farther,
      and fell
         on his face,
            and prayed,
          saying,
             O my Father,
                if it
         be possible,
            let this cup pass
               from me:
      nevertheless
         not as I will,
      but as thou wilt.
  LUK 21:19
   In your patience
         possess ye your souls.
  LUK 23:40
   But the other answering
       rebuked him,
          saying,
             Dost not
        thou fear God,
           seeing
        thou art
           in the same condemnation?
  LUK 23:41
   And
        we indeed justly;
           for we
              receive the due reward
                 of our deeds:
      but this man
         hath done
             nothing amiss.
  JOH 18:11
   Then said Jesus
         unto Peter,
      Put up thy sword
          into the sheath:
      the cup which my Father
         hath given me,
      shall
         I not drink it?
  ACT 7:59
   And
        they stoned
           Stephen,
          calling upon God,
             and saying,
          Lord Jesus,
             receive my spirit.
  ACT 7:60
   And
        he kneeled down,
      and cried
          with a loud voice,
             Lord,
          lay not
             this sin
          to their charge.

   And
        when
            he had said this,
      he fell asleep.
  ACT 21:14
   And
        when
            he would not be persuaded,
               we ceased,
              saying,
                 The will of the Lord
         be done.
  ROM 5:3
   And not only so,
      but we
         glory
       in tribulations also:
      knowing
          that tribulation
       worketh patience;
  ROM 5:4
   And patience,
      experience;
         and experience,
      hope:
  ROM 5:5
   And hope
       maketh not ashamed;
      because
          the love
             of God
       is shed abroad
          in our hearts
              by the Holy Ghost
             which is given unto us.
  ROM 12:12
   Rejoicing
         in hope;
      patient
          in tribulation;
      continuing instant
          in prayer;
  CO2 6:9
   As unknown,
      and yet well known;
         as dying,
      and,
         behold,
      we live;
         as chastened,
      and not killed;
  CO2 6:10
   As sorrowful,
      yet alway rejoicing;
         as poor,
      yet making many rich;
         as having nothing,
            and yet possessing all things.
  CO2 7:4
   Great is my boldness
          of speech
              toward you,
      great is my glorying
          of you:
      I am filled
          with comfort,
      I am exceeding joyful
          in all our tribulation.
  PHI 1:20
   According to
          my earnest expectation
             and my hope,
      that in nothing
         I shall be ashamed,
      but
         that with all boldness,
            as always,
          so now also
         Christ shall be magnified
            in my body,
          whether it
             be by life,
          or by death.
  PHI 1:21
   For to me
          to live
       is Christ,
      and to die is gain.
  PHI 1:22
   But
        if I
             live
          in the flesh,
      this is the fruit
          of my labour:
      yet
         what
            I shall choose
               I wot not.
  PHI 1:23
   For I
       am in a strait
          betwixt two,
      having a desire
         to depart,
      and
         to be
        with Christ;
      which is
         far better:
  PHI 1:24
   Nevertheless
       to abide in
          the flesh
             is more needful
                for you.
  PHI 2:14
   Do all things
          without murmurings
              and disputings:
  PHI 4:11
   Not that
        I speak
           in respect
              of want:
                 for I
         have learned,
      in whatsoever state
         I am,
      therewith to be content.
  PHI 4:12
   I know both
        how to be abased,
      and
         I know how
            to abound:
      every
         where and
            in all things
               I am instructed
              both to be full
                 and
             to be hungry,
      both to
         abound and
            to suffer need.
  PHI 4:13
   I can do
         all things
            through Christ which
       strengtheneth me.
  COL 1:11
   Strengthened
       with all might,
      according to
          his glorious power,
      unto all patience
          and longsuffering
             with joyfulness;
  TH1 3:3
   That no man
       should be moved
          by these afflictions:
             for yourselves
         know that
        we are appointed thereunto.
  TH2 1:4
   So that
          we ourselves
             glory
          in you
         in the churches
            of God
               for your patience
                  and faith
                      in all your persecutions
                    and tribulations that
        ye endure:
  TI2 2:3
   Thou therefore endure
         hardness,
      as a good soldier
          of Jesus Christ.
  TI2 4:5
   But watch
        thou
           in all things,
          endure afflictions,
             do the work
                of an evangelist,
          make full proof
             of thy ministry.
  TI2 4:6
   For I
       am now ready
          to be offered,
      and
         the time
            of my departure
         is at hand.
  HEB 10:34
   For ye
       had compassion of me
          in my bonds,
      and took joyfully
         the spoiling
            of your goods,
      knowing in yourselves
         that ye
             have in heaven
        a better
           and an enduring substance.
  HEB 12:3
   For consider him that
       endured
          such contradiction
             of sinners
                against himself,
      lest
         ye be wearied
             and faint
         in your minds.
  HEB 12:4
   Ye have not yet resisted
          unto blood,
      striving against sin.
  HEB 12:5
   And
        ye have forgotten
           the exhortation
         which speaketh unto you as
            unto children,
          My son,
             despise not
                thou the chastening
                   of the Lord,
          nor faint
        when
            thou art
               rebuked of him:
  HEB 12:9
   Furthermore
        we have had
       fathers
          of our flesh which
             corrected us,
      and
         we gave them reverence:
      shall
         we not much rather
       be in subjection
          unto the Father
              of spirits,
      and live?
  JAM 1:9
   Let the brother
          of low degree
         rejoice in that
        he is exalted:
  JAM 1:10
   But the rich,
      in that
         he is made low:
      because
          as the flower
             of the grass
        he shall pass away.
  JAM 4:7
   Submit yourselves therefore
          to God.

   Resist the devil,
      and
         he will flee
            from you.
  JAM 5:11
   Behold,
we count them happy which endure.

   Ye have heard
          of the patience
              of Job,
      and have seen
          the end
             of the Lord;
      that the Lord
         is very pitiful,
      and of tender mercy.
  JAM 5:13
   Is any
          among you afflicted?
      let him pray.

   Is any merry?
      let him sing psalms.
  PE1 1:6
   Wherein ye
         greatly rejoice,
      though now for a season,
         if need be,
      ye are in heaviness
          through manifold temptations:
  PE1 4:12
   Beloved,
      think it
         not strange concerning
        the fiery trial which
       is to try you,
      as though
         some strange thing
            happened
           unto you:
  PE1 4:13
   But rejoice,
      inasmuch as
         ye are partakers
            of Christ's sufferings;
      that,
         when his glory
       shall be revealed,
      ye may be glad
          also with exceeding joy.
  PE1 4:19
   Wherefore let them
         that suffer according to
            the will
               of God
           commit the keeping
              of their souls
                  to him
               in well doing,
      as unto a
          faithful Creator.
   END
