But
thou must eat them
before the LORD thy God
in the place
which the LORD thy God
shall choose,
thou,
and thy son,
and thy daughter,
and thy manservant,
and thy maidservant,
and the Levite
that is
within thy gates:
and
thou shalt rejoice
before the LORD thy God
in all
that thou
puttest
thine
hands unto.
And Hannah prayed,
and said,
My heart
rejoiceth in the LORD,
mine horn
is exalted
in the LORD:
my mouth
is enlarged
over mine enemies;
because
I rejoice
in thy salvation.
Then
he said unto them,
Go your way,
eat the fat,
and drink
the sweet,
and send portions
unto them for whom nothing
is prepared:
for this day
is holy
unto our LORD:
neither be
ye sorry;
for the joy
of the LORD
is your strength.
Also that day
they offered
great sacrifices,
and rejoiced:
for God
had made them
rejoice
with great joy:
the wives
also and the children rejoiced:
so that
the joy
of Jerusalem
was heard even afar off.
He shall pray
unto God,
and
he will be favourable
unto him:
and he
shall see
his face
with joy:
for he
will render
unto man
his righteousness.
Serve the LORD
with fear,
and rejoice
with trembling.
Thou hast put gladness
in my heart,
more than in the time
that their corn
and their wine increased.
But let all
those that put
their trust
in thee rejoice:
let them ever
shout for joy,
because
thou defendest them:
let them also
that love thy
name
be joyful
in thee.
I will be glad
and rejoice
in thee:
I will sing praise
to thy name,
O thou most High.
But
I have trusted
in thy mercy;
my heart
shall rejoice
in thy salvation.
Therefore my heart
is glad,
and my glory rejoiceth:
my flesh
also shall rest
in hope.
Thou wilt shew me
the path of life:
in thy presence
is fulness
of joy;
at thy
right hand
there are pleasures
for evermore.
The statutes
of the LORD
are right,
rejoicing
the heart:
the commandment
of the LORD
is pure,
enlightening
the eyes.
We will rejoice
in thy salvation,
and in the name
of our God
we will set up
our banners:
the LORD fulfil all
thy petitions.
The LORD
is my strength
and my shield;
my heart
trusted in him,
and I
am helped:
therefore my heart
greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song
will I praise him.
For his anger
endureth
but a moment;
in his favour
is life:
weeping may endure
for a night,
but joy
cometh in the morning.
Thou hast turned
for me my mourning
into dancing:
thou hast put off
my sackcloth,
and girded me
with gladness;
Be glad
in the LORD,
and rejoice,
ye righteous:
and shout
for joy,
all ye that
are upright
in heart.
For our heart
shall rejoice in him,
because
we have trusted
in his holy name.
And my soul
shall be joyful
in the LORD:
it shall rejoice
in his salvation.
Let all those
that seek thee
rejoice and be glad
in thee:
let
such as
love thy salvation
say continually,
The LORD
be magnified.
My soul
shall be satisfied as
with marrow
and fatness;
and my mouth
shall praise thee
with joyful lips:
Because
thou hast been
my help,
therefore in the shadow
of thy wings
will I rejoice.
The righteous
shall be glad
in the LORD,
and
shall trust in him;
and all
the upright
in heart
shall glory.
My lips
shall greatly rejoice
when
I sing unto thee;
and my soul,
which thou
hast redeemed.
In thy
name
shall
they rejoice all
the day:
and in thy righteousness
shall
they be exalted.
Rejoice
in the LORD,
ye righteous;
and give
thanks
at the remembrance
of his holiness.
Make a joyful noise
unto the LORD,
all ye lands.
Serve the LORD
with gladness:
come
before his presence
with singing.
I have rejoiced
in the way
of thy testimonies,
as much as
in all riches.
I will delight myself
in thy statutes:
I will not forget
thy word.
I rejoice
at thy word,
as one
that findeth great
spoil.
They that sow
in tears
shall reap
in joy.
He that
goeth forth
and weepeth,
bearing precious seed,
shall doubtless
come again
with rejoicing,
bringing his sheaves
with him.
For God
giveth to a man
that is good
in his sight wisdom,
and knowledge,
and joy:
but to the sinner
he giveth travail,
to gather and
to heap up,
that he
may give
to him
that is good
before God.
This also is vanity
and vexation
of spirit.
Behold,
God is my salvation;
I will trust,
and not be afraid:
for the LORD JEHOVAH
is my strength
and my song;
he also is become
my salvation.
Therefore with joy
shall
ye draw
water out of the
wells of salvation.
And the ransomed
of the LORD
shall return,
and come
to Zion
with songs
and everlasting joy
upon their heads:
they shall obtain
joy and gladness,
and sorrow
and sighing
shall flee away.
Thou shalt fan them,
and the wind
shall carry them away,
and the whirlwind
shall scatter them:
and
thou shalt rejoice
in the LORD,
and shalt glory
in the Holy One
of Israel.
Therefore the redeemed
of the LORD
shall return,
and come
with singing
unto Zion;
and everlasting joy
shall be
upon their head:
they shall obtain gladness
and joy;
and sorrow
and mourning
shall flee away.
For ye
shall go out
with joy,
and be led forth
with peace:
the mountains
and the hills
shall break forth
before you
into singing,
and all
the trees
of the field
shall clap
their hands.
I will greatly rejoice
in the LORD,
my soul
shall be joyful
in my God;
for he
hath clothed me
with the garments
of salvation,
he hath covered me
with the robe
of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself
with ornaments,
and
as a bride adorneth herself
with her jewels.
Thy words
were found,
and
I did eat them;
and thy
word
was unto me the joy
and rejoicing
of mine heart:
for I
am called
by thy name,
O LORD God
of hosts.
Yea,
I will rejoice
over them to do them good,
and
I will plant them
in this land
assuredly with my whole heart
and with my whole soul.
The voice of joy,
and the voice
of gladness,
the voice
of the bridegroom,
and the voice
of the bride,
the voice
of them that
shall say,
Praise the LORD
of hosts:
for the LORD
is good;
for his mercy
endureth for ever:
and of them that
shall bring the sacrifice
of praise
into the house
of the LORD.
For I
will cause
to return the captivity
of the land,
as at the first,
saith the LORD.
Be glad then,
ye children
of Zion,
and rejoice
in the LORD your God:
for he
hath given
you the former rain moderately,
and he
will cause
to come down
for you the rain,
the former rain,
and the latter rain
in the first month.
Yet
I will rejoice
in the LORD,
I will joy in the God
of my salvation.
His lord said
unto him,
Well done,
thou good
and faithful servant:
thou hast been faithful
over a few things,
I will make thee ruler
over many things:
enter
thou
into the joy
of thy lord.
And my spirit
hath rejoiced
in God
my Saviour.
And the angel
said unto them,
Fear not:
for,
behold,
I bring
you good tidings
of great joy,
which shall be
to all people.
Rejoice
ye in that day,
and leap for joy:
for,
behold,
your reward
is great
in heaven:
for in the like
manner
did
their fathers
unto the prophets.
Notwithstanding in this
rejoice not,
that the spirits
are subject
unto you;
but
rather rejoice,
because
your names
are written
in heaven.
Likewise,
I say unto you,
there is
joy
in the presence
of the angels
of God
over one sinner
that repenteth.
These things
have
I spoken
unto you,
that my joy
might remain
in you,
and
that your joy
might be full.
Verily,
verily,
I say unto you,
That ye
shall weep
and lament,
but the world
shall rejoice:
and
ye shall be sorrowful,
but your sorrow
shall be turned into joy.
And
ye now therefore have sorrow:
but I
will see
you again,
and your heart
shall rejoice,
and your joy no man
taketh from you.
Hitherto have
ye asked nothing
in my name:
ask,
and
ye shall receive,
that your joy
may be full.
These things
I have spoken
unto you,
that in me ye
might have peace.
In the world
ye shall have
tribulation:
but be
of good cheer;
I have overcome
the world.
And now come
I to thee;
and these things
I speak
in the world,
that they
might have
my joy fulfilled
in themselves.
Thou hast made
known
to me the ways
of life;
thou shalt make me
full of joy
with thy countenance.
And there was great
joy
in that city.
And
when
they were come up
out of the water,
the Spirit
of the Lord caught away Philip,
that the eunuch
saw him no more:
and he
went on
his way rejoicing.
And the disciples
were filled
with joy,
and
with the Holy Ghost.
And
when
he had brought them
into his house,
he set meat
before them,
and rejoiced,
believing
in God
with all his house.
By whom also
we have
access
by faith
into this grace
wherein we stand,
and rejoice
in hope
of the glory
of God.
And not only so,
but
we also joy
in God
through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom
we have now received
the atonement.
Rejoicing
in hope;
patient
in tribulation;
continuing instant
in prayer;
For the kingdom
of God
is not meat
and drink;
but righteousness,
and peace,
and joy
in the Holy Ghost.
Now the God
of hope fill you
with all joy
and peace
in believing,
that ye
may abound
in hope,
through the power
of the Holy Ghost.
For our rejoicing
is this,
the testimony
of our conscience,
that in simplicity
and godly sincerity,
not with fleshly wisdom,
but by the grace
of God,
we have had
our conversation
in the world,
and more
abundantly to you-ward.
As sorrowful,
yet alway rejoicing;
as poor,
yet making many rich;
as having nothing,
and yet possessing all things.
Great is my boldness
of speech
toward you,
great is my glorying
of you:
I am filled
with comfort,
I am exceeding joyful
in all our tribulation.
How that
in a great trial
of affliction the abundance
of their joy
and their deep poverty
abounded
unto the riches
of their liberality.
But
the fruit
of the Spirit
is love,
joy,
peace,
longsuffering,
gentleness,
goodness,
faith,
And be not drunk
with wine,
wherein is excess;
but be filled
with the Spirit;
Rejoice
in the Lord alway:
and again
I say,
Rejoice.
Strengthened
with all might,
according to
his glorious power,
unto all patience
and longsuffering
with joyfulness;
And
ye became followers of us,
and of the Lord,
having received the word
in much affliction,
with joy
of the Holy Ghost.
For ye
had compassion of me
in my bonds,
and took joyfully
the spoiling
of your goods,
knowing in yourselves
that ye
have in heaven
a better
and an enduring substance.
My brethren,
count
it all joy
when ye
fall
into divers temptations;
Whom having not seen,
ye love;
in whom,
though now
ye see him not,
yet believing,
ye rejoice
with joy
unspeakable
and full of glory:
But rejoice,
inasmuch as
ye are partakers
of Christ's sufferings;
that,
when his glory
shall be revealed,
ye may be glad
also with exceeding joy.
And these things
write
we unto you,
that your joy
may be full.
Now unto him that is able
to keep you
from falling,
and
to present
you faultless
before the presence
of his glory
with exceeding joy,
