And because
he
loved
thy fathers,
therefore he
chose
their seed
after them,
and brought thee
out in his sight
with his mighty power
out of Egypt;
The LORD
did not set
his love
upon you,
nor choose you,
because
ye were more
in number
than any people;
for ye were
the fewest
of all people:
But
because
the LORD
loved you,
and
because
he would keep
the oath
which he
had sworn
unto your fathers,
hath
the LORD
brought
you out
with a mighty hand,
and redeemed you
out of the house
of bondmen,
from the hand
of Pharaoh king
of Egypt.
And
he will love thee,
and bless thee,
and multiply thee:
he will also bless the fruit
of thy womb,
and the fruit
of thy land,
thy corn,
and thy wine,
and thine oil,
the increase
of thy kine,
and the flocks
of thy sheep,
in the land which
he sware unto thy
fathers to give thee.
Only the LORD
had
a delight in thy
fathers
to love them,
and he
chose
their seed
after them,
even you above all people,
as it is this day.
He doth execute
the judgment
of the fatherless
and widow,
and loveth the stranger,
in giving him food
and raiment.
Nevertheless
the LORD thy God
would not hearken
unto Balaam;
but the LORD
thy God
turned
the curse into a
blessing
unto thee,
because
the LORD thy God
loved thee.
Yea,
he loved
the people;
all his saints
are in thy hand:
and they
sat down
at thy feet;
every one
shall receive
of thy words.
And of Benjamin
he said,
The beloved
of the LORD
shall dwell
in safety by him;
and the Lord
shall cover him all
the day long,
and
he shall dwell
between his shoulders.
And David
comforted Bathsheba
his wife,
and went in
unto her,
and lay with her:
and
she bare a son,
and
he called
his name Solomon:
and the LORD
loved him.
What is man,
that thou
shouldest magnify him?
and
that thou
shouldest set thine heart
upon him?
Yet the LORD
will command
his lovingkindness
in the day time,
and in the night
his song
shall be with me,
and my prayer
unto the God
of my life.
He shall choose
our inheritance
for us,
the excellency
of Jacob
whom he loved.
Selah.
Because
thy lovingkindness
is better
than life,
my lips
shall praise thee.
Then the LORD awaked
as one
out of sleep,
and like
a mighty man
that shouteth
by reason
of wine.
Nevertheless
my lovingkindness
will
I not utterly take from him,
nor suffer
my faithfulness
to fail.
Like as a father
pitieth his children,
so the LORD
pitieth them
that fear him.
The LORD
openeth
the eyes
of the blind:
the LORD
raiseth them
that are bowed down:
the LORD
loveth the righteous:
The way
of the wicked
is an abomination
unto the LORD:
but he
loveth him
that
followeth after righteousness.
Behold,
for peace
I had
great bitterness:
but
thou hast
in love
to my soul
delivered it
from the pit
of corruption:
for thou
hast cast all
my sins
behind thy back.
Since thou
wast precious
in my sight,
thou hast been honourable,
and
I have loved thee:
therefore will
I give men
for thee,
and people
for thy life.
The LORD
hath appeared
of old unto me,
saying,
Yea,
I have loved thee
with an everlasting love:
therefore with lovingkindness
have
I drawn thee.
When Israel
was a child,
then I
loved him,
and called
my son
out of Egypt.
I have loved you,
saith the LORD.
Yet ye say,
Wherein
hast thou loved us?
Was not
Esau Jacob's brother?
saith the LORD:
yet
I loved Jacob,
For God so
loved the world,
that he
gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have
everlasting life.
For the Father
loveth the Son,
and sheweth him all
things that himself doeth:
and
he will shew him greater works
than these,
that ye
may marvel.
He that
hath my commandments,
and keepeth them,
he it
is
that loveth me:
and he
that loveth me
shall be loved
of my Father,
and
I will love him,
and will manifest myself
to him.
Jesus
answered
and
said unto him,
If a man
love me,
he will keep
my words:
and my Father
will love him,
and
we will come unto him,
and make
our abode
with him.
For the Father himself
loveth you,
because
ye have loved me,
and have believed
that I
came out
from God.
And all mine
are thine,
and thine
are mine;
and
I am glorified in them.
I in them,
and
thou in me,
that
they may be made
perfect in one;
and
that the world
may know that
thou hast sent me,
and hast loved them,
as thou
hast loved me.
And
I have declared
unto them thy name,
and will declare it:
that the love
wherewith
thou hast loved me
may be in them,
and I in them.
Jesus saith unto her,
Touch me not;
for I am not yet ascended
to my Father:
but go
to my brethren,
and
say unto them,
I ascend
unto my Father,
and your Father;
and to my God,
and your God.
To all
that be in Rome,
beloved of God,
called to be saints:
Grace to you
and peace
from God our Father,
and the Lord Jesus Christ.
But God
commendeth
his love
toward us,
in that,
while we
were yet sinners,
Christ
died for us.
As it is written,
Jacob
have
I loved,
but Esau
have I hated.
As concerning
the gospel,
they are enemies
for your sakes:
but as touching
the election,
they are beloved
for the father's sakes.
Every man
according as he
purposeth in his heart,
so let him give;
not grudgingly,
or of necessity:
for God
loveth a cheerful giver.
Finally,
brethren,
farewell.
Be perfect,
be of good comfort,
be of one mind,
live in peace;
and the God
of love
and peace
shall be
with you.
But God,
who is rich in mercy,
for his great
love wherewith
he loved us,
Even
when we
were dead
in sins,
hath quickened
us together
with Christ,
(by grace
ye are saved;)
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself,
and God,
even our Father,
which hath loved us,
and hath given us
everlasting consolation
and good hope
through grace,
But after that
the kindness
and love
of God our Saviour
toward man appeared,
Not by works
of righteousness
which we
have done,
but according to
his mercy
he saved us,
by the washing
of regeneration,
and renewing
of the Holy Ghost;
For whom the Lord
loveth
he chasteneth,
and scourgeth every son whom
he receiveth.
Behold,
what manner
of love
the Father
hath bestowed upon us,
that we
should be called
the sons
of God:
therefore the world
knoweth us not,
because
it knew him not.
He that
loveth not knoweth not God;
for God is love.
In this
was manifested
the love
of God
toward us,
because
that God
sent
his only begotten Son
into the world,
that we
might live through him.
Herein is love,
not
that we
loved God,
but that
he loved us,
and sent
his Son
to be the propitiation
for our sins.
No man
hath seen God
at any time.
If we
love one
another,
God
dwelleth in us,
and his love
is perfected in us.
Hereby know
we that
we dwell in him,
and he in us,
because
he hath given us
of his Spirit.
Whosoever
shall confess
that Jesus
is the Son
of God,
God
dwelleth in him,
and he in God.
And we
have known
and believed
the love that God
hath to us.
God is love;
and
he that
dwelleth in love
dwelleth in God,
and God
in him.
We love him,
because
he first loved us.
Keep yourselves
in the love
of God,
looking for the mercy
of our Lord Jesus Christ
unto eternal life.
Him that overcometh
will
I make a pillar
in the temple
of my God,
and
he shall go no more out:
and
I will write
upon him the name
of my God,
and the name
of the city
of my God,
which is new Jerusalem,
which cometh down out of heaven
from my God:
and
I will write
upon him my new name.
And I looked,
and,
lo,
a Lamb
stood
on the mount Sion,
and with him an hundred forty
and four thousand,
having
his Father's name
written
in their foreheads.
