And Enoch
walked
with God after he
begat Methuselah three hundred years,
and begat sons
and daughters:
And all
the days
of Enoch
were three hundred sixty
and five years:
And Enoch
walked
with God:
and he was not;
for God
took him.
These are the generations
of Noah:
Noah was a
just man
and perfect
in his generations,
and Noah
walked
with God.
And
I will dwell
among the children
of Israel,
and will be
their God.
And he said,
My presence
shall go
with thee,
and
I will give
thee rest.
And
he said unto him,
If thy presence
go not with me,
carry us not
up hence.
For wherein shall
it be known here that
I and thy people
have found
grace in thy sight?
is it
not in that thou
goest with us?
so shall
we be separated,
I and thy people,
from all
the people
that are upon the face
of the earth.
And the LORD
said
unto Moses,
I will do
this thing also
that thou
hast spoken:
for thou
hast found
grace
in my sight,
and
I know thee
by name.
And
I will walk
among you,
and will be
your God,
and
ye shall be
my people.
For thus
saith the high
and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity,
whose name
is Holy;
I dwell
in the high
and holy place,
with him also that is
of a contrite
and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit
of the humble,
and
to revive
the heart
of the contrite
ones.
Sing and rejoice,
O daughter
of Zion:
for, lo,
I come,
and
I will dwell
in the midst
of thee,
saith the LORD.
Whosoever shall receive one
of such children
in my name,
receiveth me:
and whosoever
shall receive me,
receiveth not me,
but him
that sent me.
Jesus
answered
and
said unto him,
If a man
love me,
he will keep
my words:
and my Father
will love him,
and
we will come unto him,
and make
our abode
with him.
That they
all may be one;
as thou,
Father,
art in me,
and I in thee,
that they
also may be
one in us:
that the world
may believe that
thou hast sent me.
I in them,
and
thou in me,
that
they may be made
perfect in one;
and
that the world
may know that
thou hast sent me,
and hast loved them,
as thou
hast loved me.
And
what agreement
hath the temple
of God
with idols?
for ye are
the temple
of the living God;
as God
hath said,
I will dwell in them,
and walk in them;
and
I will be
their God,
and
they shall be
my people.
Finally,
brethren,
farewell.
Be perfect,
be of good comfort,
be of one mind,
live in peace;
and the God
of love
and peace
shall be
with you.
That which
we have seen
and heard
declare
we unto you,
that ye
also may have fellowship
with us:
and truly
our fellowship
is with the Father,
and
with his Son Jesus Christ.
This
then is the message
which we
have heard of him,
and declare
unto you,
that God
is light,
and
in him is no darkness
at all.
If we
say that
we have fellowship
with him,
and walk
in darkness,
we lie,
and do not
the truth:
But
if we
walk
in the light,
as he
is in the light,
we have fellowship one
with another,
and the blood
of Jesus Christ
his Son
cleanseth us
from all sin.
And he
that
keepeth
his commandments
dwelleth in him,
and he in him.
And hereby
we know that
he abideth in us,
by the Spirit
which he
hath given us.
And I
heard
a great voice
out of heaven saying,
Behold,
the tabernacle
of God
is with men,
and
he will dwell with them,
and
they shall be
his people,
and God himself
shall be with them,
and be
their God.
And God
shall wipe
away all
tears
from their eyes;
and there shall be
no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more
pain:
for the former things
are passed away.
