Therefore whosoever
heareth these sayings
of mine,
and doeth them,
I will liken him
unto a wise man,
which built
his house
upon a rock:
And Jesus
said
unto the centurion,
Go thy way;
and as thou
hast believed,
so be
it done
unto thee.
And his servant
was healed
in the selfsame hour.
But Jesus
turned him about,
and
when he
saw her,
he said,
Daughter,
be of good comfort;
thy faith
hath made thee whole.
And the woman
was made whole
from that hour.
Then touched
he their eyes,
saying,
According to your faith
be it
unto you.
And blessed
is he,
whosoever
shall not be offended in me.
Take my yoke
upon you,
and learn of me;
for I
am meek and
lowly in heart:
and
ye shall find
rest
unto your souls.
Then Jesus
answered
and said
unto her,
O woman,
great is thy faith:
be it unto thee
even as thou wilt.
And her daughter
was made whole
from that very hour.
Jesus
said unto him,
If thou canst believe,
all things
are possible
to him that believeth.
He that believeth
and is baptized
shall be saved;
but
he that believeth
not shall be damned.
When Jesus
heard these things,
he marvelled at him,
and
turned him about,
and said
unto the people
that followed him,
I say unto you,
I have not found
so great faith,
no,
not in Israel.
And he
said
to the woman,
Thy faith
hath saved thee;
go in peace.
But
when Jesus
heard it,
he answered him,
saying,
Fear not:
believe only,
and
she shall be made whole.
And the Lord said,
If ye
had faith
as a grain
of mustard seed,
ye might say
unto this sycamine tree,
Be thou
plucked up
by the root,
and be
thou planted
in the sea;
and it
should obey you.
And Jesus
said unto him,
Receive thy sight:
thy faith
hath saved thee.
But as many
as received him,
to them
gave
he power to
become the sons
of God,
even to them that
believe
on his name:
That whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have
eternal life.
For God so
loved the world,
that he
gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have
everlasting life.
He that believeth
on him is not condemned:
but
he that believeth
not is condemned already,
because
he hath not believed
in the name
of the only begotten Son
of God.
He that believeth
on the Son
hath everlasting life:
and
he that believeth
not the Son
shall not see life;
but the wrath
of God abideth
on him.
Verily,
verily,
I say unto you,
He that heareth my word,
and believeth
on him that
sent me,
hath everlasting life,
and shall not come
into condemnation;
but is passed
from death
unto life.
Jesus
answered
and
said unto them,
This is the work
of God,
that ye
believe
on him whom
he hath sent.
And Jesus
said unto them,
I am the bread
of life:
he that
cometh to me
shall never hunger;
and
he that believeth
on me shall never thirst.
He that believeth on me,
as the scripture
hath said,
out of his belly
shall flow rivers
of living water.
Jesus
said
unto her,
I am the resurrection,
and the life:
he that believeth in me,
though he
were dead,
yet shall
he live:
And whosoever
liveth
and believeth
in me shall never die.
Believest thou this?
Jesus saith unto her,
Said I
not unto thee,
that,
if thou
wouldest believe,
thou shouldest see
the glory
of God?
While ye
have light,
believe
in the light,
that ye
may be the children
of light.
These things
spake Jesus,
and departed,
and
did hide himself from them.
Jesus
cried
and said,
He that believeth on me,
believeth
not on me,
but on him that
sent me.
I am come
a light
into the world,
that whosoever believeth
on me should not abide in
darkness.
Let not
your heart
be troubled:
ye believe
in God,
believe also in me.
Believe me
that I
am in the Father,
and the Father in me:
or else
believe me
for the very works' sake.
Verily,
verily,
I say unto you,
He that believeth on me,
the works
that I do
shall
he do also;
and greater works than
these shall
he do;
because
I go
unto my Father.
Then saith
he to Thomas,
Reach hither
thy finger,
and behold
my hands;
and reach hither
thy hand,
and thrust it
into my side:
and be not faithless,
but believing.
Jesus
saith unto him,
Thomas,
because
thou hast seen me,
thou hast believed:
blessed
are
they that
have not seen,
and yet have believed.
But these
are written,
that ye
might believe
that Jesus
is the Christ,
the Son of God;
and
that believing
ye might have life
through his name.
And his name
through faith
in his name
hath made
this man strong,
whom
ye see
and know:
yea,
the faith which
is by him
hath given him
this perfect soundness
in the presence
of you all.
To him
give all
the prophets witness,
that through his name
whosoever believeth
in him shall receive remission
of sins.
And put no difference
between us and them,
purifying their hearts
by faith.
But
we believe
that through the grace
of the LORD Jesus Christ
we shall be saved,
even as they.
And they said,
Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and
thou shalt be saved,
and thy house.
Testifying both
to the Jews,
and
also to the Greeks,
repentance
toward God,
and faith
toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
To open their eyes,
and
to turn them
from darkness
to light,
and
from the power
of Satan
unto God,
that they
may receive forgiveness
of sins,
and inheritance
among them which
are sanctified
by faith
that is in me.
Even
the righteousness
of God
which is by faith
of Jesus Christ
unto all
and upon all
them that believe:
for there is no difference:
Where is boasting then?
It is excluded.
By what law?
of works?
Nay:
but by the law
of faith.
Therefore we
conclude
that a man
is justified
by faith
without the deeds
of the law.
For Christ
is the end
of the law
for righteousness
to every one that believeth.
That if
thou shalt confess
with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe
in thine heart
that God
hath raised him
from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.
Knowing that a man
is not justified
by the works
of the law,
but by the faith
of Jesus Christ,
even
we have believed
in Jesus Christ,
that we
might be justified by the faith
of Christ,
and
not by the works
of the law:
for by the works
of the law
shall no flesh
be justified.
Even as Abraham
believed God,
and it
was accounted
to him
for righteousness.
Know ye
therefore that
they which
are of faith,
the same
are the children
of Abraham.
And the scripture,
foreseeing
that God
would justify
the heathen
through faith,
preached
before the gospel
unto Abraham,
saying,
In thee
shall all
nations be blessed.
But that no man
is justified
by the law
in the sight
of God,
it is evident:
for, The
just shall live
by faith.
That the blessing
of Abraham
might come
on the Gentiles
through Jesus Christ;
that we
might receive
the promise
of the Spirit
through faith.
But the scripture
hath concluded all
under sin,
that the promise
by faith
of Jesus Christ
might be given
to them that believe.
But before faith came,
we were kept
under the law,
shut up
unto the faith which
should afterwards be revealed.
Wherefore
the law
was our schoolmaster
to bring us
unto Christ,
that we
might be justified
by faith.
But after that faith
is come,
we are no longer
under a schoolmaster.
For ye are all
the children
of God
by faith
in Christ Jesus.
For as many
of you as
have been baptized
into Christ
have put on
Christ.
For in Jesus Christ neither
circumcision
availeth any thing,
nor uncircumcision;
but faith which
worketh by love.
That we
should be to the praise
of his glory,
who first trusted
in Christ.
In whom
ye also trusted,
after that
ye heard
the word
of truth,
the gospel
of your salvation:
in whom
also after that
ye believed,
ye were sealed
with that
holy Spirit
of promise,
In whom
we have boldness
and access
with confidence
by the faith
of him.
Till we all come in
the unity
of the faith,
and
of the knowledge
of the Son
of God,
unto a perfect man,
unto the measure
of the stature
of the fulness
of Christ:
And
be found in him,
not having mine own righteousness,
which is of the law,
but
that which
is through the faith
of Christ,
the righteousness which
is of God
by faith:
Rooted
and
built up in him,
and stablished
in the faith,
as ye
have been taught,
abounding therein
with thanksgiving.
Howbeit
for this cause
I obtained mercy,
that in me first Jesus Christ
might shew
forth all longsuffering,
for a pattern
to them which
should hereafter believe
on him
to life everlasting.
Hold
fast
the form
of sound words,
which thou
hast heard of me,
in faith
and love which
is in Christ Jesus.
And
that from a child
thou hast known
the holy scriptures,
which are able
to make thee wise
unto salvation
through faith
which is in Christ Jesus.
Let us
draw near
with a true heart
in full assurance
of faith,
having
our hearts
sprinkled
from an evil conscience,
and our bodies
washed
with pure water.
Looking unto Jesus
the author
and finisher
of our faith;
who for the joy
that was set
before him
endured the cross,
despising
the shame,
and is set down
at the right hand
of the throne
of God.
Whom having not seen,
ye love;
in whom,
though now
ye see him not,
yet believing,
ye rejoice
with joy
unspeakable
and full of glory:
Unto you therefore which
believe
he is precious:
but unto them
which be disobedient,
the stone
which the builders disallowed,
the same
is made
the head
of the corner,
And this
is his commandment,
That we
should believe on the name
of his Son Jesus Christ,
and love one
another,
as he
gave us
commandment.
For whatsoever is born
of God
overcometh the world:
and this
is the victory
that overcometh the world,
even our faith.
Who is
he that
overcometh the world,
but
he that believeth
that Jesus
is the Son
of God?
These things
have
I written
unto you
that believe
on the name
of the Son
of God;
that ye
may know that
ye have
eternal life,
and
that ye
may believe on the name
of the Son
of God.
And this
is the confidence
that we
have in him,
that,
if we
ask any thing
according to his will,
he heareth us:
Behold,
I stand
at the door,
and knock:
if any man
hear my voice,
and open
the door,
I will come in
to him,
and
will sup with him,
and he with me.
