For this
is my blood
of the new testament,
which is
shed for many
for the remission
of sins.
And
he said unto them,
This is my blood
of the new testament,
which is
shed for many.
Likewise
also the cup
after supper,
saying,
This cup
is the new testament
in my blood,
which is
shed for you.
Then Jesus
said unto them,
Verily,
verily,
I say unto you,
Except
ye eat
the flesh
of the Son
of man,
and drink
his blood,
ye have no life
in you.
Whoso
eateth
my flesh,
and drinketh my blood,
hath eternal life;
and I
will raise
him up
at the last day.
For my flesh
is meat indeed,
and my blood
is drink indeed.
He that
eateth
my flesh,
and drinketh my blood,
dwelleth in me,
and I in him.
But one
of the soldiers
with a spear
pierced his side,
and forthwith came there
out blood and water.
Sorrowing most of
all for the words
which he spake,
that they
should see
his face no more.
And
they accompanied him
unto the ship.
Being justified freely
by his grace
through the redemption
that is
in Christ Jesus:
Whom God
hath
set forth
to be a propitiation
through faith
in his blood,
to declare
his righteousness
for the remission
of sins
that are past,
through the forbearance
of God;
Much more then,
being now justified
by his blood,
we shall be saved
from wrath
through him.
The cup
of blessing
which we bless,
is it
not the communion
of the blood
of Christ?
The bread
which we break,
is it
not the communion
of the body
of Christ?
After the same manner
also he
took the cup,
when
he had supped,
saying,
This cup
is the new testament
in my blood:
this do ye,
as oft
as ye drink it,
in remembrance of me.
In whom
we have redemption
through his blood,
the forgiveness
of sins,
according to
the riches
of his grace;
But now in Christ Jesus
ye who
sometimes were far
off are made nigh
by the blood
of Christ.
In whom
we have redemption
through his blood,
even the forgiveness
of sins:
And,
having made peace
through the blood
of his cross,
by him
to reconcile all things
unto himself;
by him,
I say,
whether they
be things
in earth,
or things
in heaven.
Neither by the blood of goats
and calves,
but by his own
blood
he entered in
once into the holy place,
having obtained
eternal redemption
for us.
For if
the blood
of bulls
and of goats,
and the ashes
of an heifer
sprinkling
the unclean,
sanctifieth to the purifying
of the flesh:
How much more
shall the blood
of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself
without spot
to God,
purge your conscience
from dead works
to serve
the living God?
Having therefore,
brethren,
boldness
to enter
into the holiest
by the blood
of Jesus,
By a new
and living way,
which he
hath consecrated for us,
through the veil,
that is to say,
his flesh;
Of how much
sorer punishment,
suppose ye,
shall
he be thought worthy,
who hath trodden
under foot
the Son
of God,
and hath counted
the blood
of the covenant,
wherewith
he was sanctified,
an unholy thing,
and hath done despite
unto the Spirit
of grace?
And
to Jesus
the mediator
of the new covenant,
and to the blood
of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things
that that
of Abel.
Wherefore Jesus also,
that he
might sanctify
the people
with his own blood,
suffered
without the gate.
Now the God
of peace,
that brought again
from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great shepherd
of the sheep,
through the blood
of the everlasting covenant,
Elect according to
the foreknowledge
of God the Father,
through sanctification
of the Spirit,
unto obedience
and sprinkling
of the blood
of Jesus Christ:
Grace unto you,
and peace,
be multiplied.
But with the precious blood
of Christ,
as of a lamb
without blemish
and without spot:
But
if we
walk
in the light,
as he
is in the light,
we have fellowship one
with another,
and the blood
of Jesus Christ
his Son
cleanseth us
from all sin.
This is
he that
came
by water
and blood,
even Jesus Christ;
not by water only,
but by water
and blood.
And it
is the Spirit
that beareth witness,
because
the Spirit is truth.
And there are three
that bear
witness
in earth,
the Spirit,
and the water,
and the blood:
and these three
agree in one.
And
from Jesus Christ,
who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten
of the dead,
and the prince
of the kings
of the earth.
Unto him that
loved us,
and washed us
from our sins
in his own blood,
And
they sung
a new song,
saying,
Thou art worthy
to take the book,
and
to open the seals
thereof:
for thou
wast slain,
and hast redeemed us
to God
by thy blood
out of every kindred,
and tongue,
and people,
and nation;
And
I said unto him,
Sir,
thou knowest.
And
he said to me,
These
are
they which
came
out of great tribulation,
and have washed
their robes,
and made them white
in the blood
of the Lamb.
And
they overcame him by the blood
of the Lamb,
and by the word
of their testimony;
and
they loved not
their lives
unto the death.
