For I
know
that my redeemer
liveth,
and
that he
shall stand
at the latter day
upon the earth:
And
though after my skin worms
destroy this body,
yet in my flesh
shall
I see God:
I will not be afraid
of ten thousands of people,
that have set themselves
against me round about.
But know
that the LORD
hath set apart him
that is godly
for himself:
the LORD
will hear
when
I call unto him.
As for me,
I will behold
thy face
in righteousness:
I shall be satisfied,
when I awake,
with thy likeness.
Yea,
though I
walk
through the valley
of the shadow
of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art
with me;
thy rod
and thy staff
they comfort me.
Though an host
should encamp against me,
my heart
shall not fear:
though war
should rise against me,
in this
will
I be confident.
One thing
have
I desired
of the LORD,
that will
I seek after;
that I
may dwell
in the house
of the LORD all
the days
of my life,
to behold the beauty
of the LORD,
and to enquire
in his temple.
For in the time
of trouble
he shall hide me
in his pavilion:
in the secret
of his tabernacle
shall
he hide me;
he shall set me up
upon a rock.
Why art
thou cast down,
O my soul?
and
why art
thou disquieted
within me?
hope thou in God:
for I
shall yet praise him,
who is the health
of my countenance,
and my God.
God is our refuge
and strength,
a very present help
in trouble.
Therefore will not
we fear,
though the earth
be removed,
and
though the mountains
be carried
into the midst
of the sea;
Though the waters
thereof roar
and be troubled,
though the mountains
shake
with the swelling
thereof.
Selah.
My flesh
and my heart faileth:
but God
is the strength
of my heart,
and my portion
for ever.
Behold,
God is my salvation;
I will trust,
and not be afraid:
for the LORD JEHOVAH
is my strength
and my song;
he also is become
my salvation.
And
the work
of righteousness
shall be peace;
and the effect
of righteousness quietness
and assurance
for ever.
The Spirit
of the Lord
is upon me,
because
he hath anointed me
to preach the gospel
to the poor;
he hath sent me
to heal
the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance
to the captives,
and recovering
of sight
to the blind,
to set at liberty
them
that are bruised,
Therefore being justified
by faith,
we have peace
with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ:
The Spirit itself
beareth
witness
with our spirit,
that we
are the children
of God:
For I
am persuaded,
that neither death,
nor life,
nor angels,
nor principalities,
nor powers,
nor things present,
nor things
to come,
Nor height,
nor depth,
nor any other creature,
shall be able
to separate us
from the love
of God,
which is in Christ Jesus
our Lord.
Know
ye not
that your bodies
are the members
of Christ?
shall I
then take
the members
of Christ,
and make them
the members
of an harlot?
God forbid.
We are troubled
on every side,
yet not distressed;
we are perplexed,
but
not in despair;
Persecuted,
but not forsaken;
cast down,
but not destroyed;
Always bearing about
in the body
the dying
of the Lord Jesus,
that the life
also of Jesus
might be made
manifest
in our body.
For which
cause
we faint not;
but
though our outward man perish,
yet the inward man
is renewed day by day.
For our light affliction,
which is
but for a moment,
worketh
for us a far more exceeding
and eternal weight
of glory;
While we
look not
at the things which
are seen,
but at the things which
are not seen:
for the things which
are seen
are temporal;
but
the things
which are not seen
are eternal.
Examine yourselves,
whether ye
be in the faith;
prove your own selves.
Know
ye not
your own selves,
how that Jesus Christ
is in you,
except ye
be reprobates?
In whom
we have boldness
and access
with confidence
by the faith
of him.
For we
are members
of his body,
of his flesh,
and
of his bones.
Being confident
of this very thing,
that he
which hath begun
a good work
in you
will perform it
until the day
of Jesus Christ:
Who shall change
our vile body,
that it
may be fashioned like
unto his glorious body,
according to
the working whereby
he is able
even
to subdue all things
unto himself.
That their hearts
might be comforted,
being
knit together
in love,
and unto all riches
of the full assurance
of understanding,
to the acknowledgement
of the mystery
of God,
and
of the Father,
and of Christ;
Knowing,
brethren beloved,
your election
of God.
For our gospel
came not unto you
in word only,
but also in power,
and
in the Holy Ghost,
and
in much assurance;
as ye
know
what manner
of men
we were among you
for your sake.
For the which cause
I also suffer
these things:
nevertheless
I am not ashamed:
for I
know whom I
have believed,
and am persuaded that
he is able
to keep
that which
I have committed
unto him
against that day.
I have fought
a good fight,
I have finished
my course,
I have kept
the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up
for me a crown
of righteousness,
which the Lord,
the righteous judge,
shall give me
at that day:
and not to me only,
but unto all them
also that love
his appearing.
For we
are made partakers
of Christ,
if we
hold the beginning
of our confidence
stedfast unto the end;
And
to whom
sware
he that
they should not enter
into his rest,
but to them
that believed not?
And we
desire that every one
of you
do shew
the same diligence
to the full assurance
of hope
unto the end:
Which hope
we have
as an anchor
of the soul,
both sure
and stedfast,
and which
entereth
into that
within the veil;
Let us
draw near
with a true heart
in full assurance
of faith,
having
our hearts
sprinkled
from an evil conscience,
and our bodies
washed
with pure water.
Wherefore
we receiving
a kingdom which
cannot be moved,
let us
have grace,
whereby
we may serve God
acceptably with reverence
and godly fear:
Blessed is the man
that endureth temptation:
for when
he is tried,
he shall receive the crown
of life,
which the Lord
hath promised
to them that love him.
Wherefore the rather,
brethren,
give diligence
to make your calling
and election sure:
for if
ye do
these things,
ye shall never fall:
For so
an entrance
shall be ministered
unto you
abundantly into the everlasting kingdom
of our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ.
But
whoso keepeth his word,
in him verily is
the love
of God perfected:
hereby know
we that
we are in him.
Beloved,
now are
we the sons
of God,
and it
doth not yet appear
what we
shall be:
but we
know that,
when
he shall appear,
we shall be like him;
for we
shall see him
as he is.
We know that
we have passed
from death
unto life,
because
we love
the brethren.
He that
loveth not
his brother abideth
in death.
And hereby
we know
that we
are of the truth,
and shall assure
our hearts
before him.
And whatsoever
we ask,
we receive of him,
because
we keep
his commandments,
and do those things
that are pleasing
in his sight.
Hereby know
we that
we dwell in him,
and he in us,
because
he hath given us
of his Spirit.
There is
no fear in love;
but perfect
love
casteth out fear:
because
fear hath torment.
He that
feareth
is not made
perfect
in love.
These things
have
I written
unto you
that believe
on the name
of the Son
of God;
that ye
may know that
ye have
eternal life,
and
that ye
may believe on the name
of the Son
of God.
And this
is the confidence
that we
have in him,
that,
if we
ask any thing
according to his will,
he heareth us:
And
if we
know that
he hear us,
whatsoever
we ask,
we know that
we have
the petitions
that we
desired of him.
And hast made us
unto our God kings
and priests:
and
we shall reign
on the earth.
